Education

Graduated B.A. in Fine Arts, Lebanese American University of Beirut.

One year course of Art History and painting, University of St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

 

Work experience

From 1974 to 1990 work in Beirut, USA, Bahrain and Iraq with architects specialized in Arabic sign system and internal projects of the Arab world, symbols, logos, report covers and murals.

– Wyman and Canon Design Studio, New York City.

– Skidmore, Owings and Merrill Architectural Firm, New York City.

– The Architects Collaborative Inc. of Walter Gropius, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Among her important works, the Card Collection and the Islamic Calendar for UNICEF, in Katmandu, Geneva and Baghdad.

Graphic design of Suq Al-Safat and Suq Al-Manakh, Kuwait.

Mural of the entrance of The Arab Investment Company Building, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Special alphabet and sign system for The Cycle Velodrome, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
